The Mudds and the Carleton Heritage Inn brings you three short plays presented in the intimate setting of the Heritage Inn banquet room. A departure from the murder mystery, audience interactive format that audiences have enjoyed in that setting over the last few years, these plays nevertheless promise an evening of humour and light hearted food for thought along with a delicious dinner. Jason Jackson, spokesperson for the Heritage Inn, promises a romantic atmosphere for the evening in keeping with Valentines Day, with tables for two and menu choices for couples to share. Blue Teardrop LoungeWritten by Maurice Aubin, featuring Michele Eno and Pat Black focuses on an unusual mother and daughter conflict - and how it is resolved. ElevatorWritten by Cherie Thiessen, showcases the comedic talent of Norma Cummings and Carell Allen; two dotty neighbours and their unique approach to coping with apartment living. I'm HerbertWritten by Robert Anderson, presents Joe Bellemore and Jennifer Pfitzer in The story of Herbert and Muriel. A recollection of love stories - real and imagined, right and wrong. |
